On April 9th, a group of Cub Scouts and parents from Cub Scout Pack 893 performed a cleanup on Cub Run's flood plain by Compton Road. Conducted as part of the Potomac Watershed Cleanup, the scouts picked up 4 bags of trash and some metal tubing
The blue bells were approaching full bloom but the trout lilies and other spring ephemerals had not yet flowered.
Total weight collected 157 pounds.
