Adopt-A-Stream Clean of Cub Run

October 2, 2010 9:00 am to 11:30 am

Location : Cub Run From Compton Road to the Rocky Run.

23 people attended the Adopt A Stream Cleanup of Cub Run on October 2nd, breaking the old record of 19 set at the May 2009 Adopt A Stream Cleanup of Bull Run. Participants included students from Rocky Run Middle School, employees of Datran Media, a number of Arlington Fairfax IWLA Chapter members as well as frequent volunteers Ken and Janice Gigliello.

In spite of the high water levels resulting from the 5.5 inches of rain that fell during the week, we were able to fill 14 bags with trash collected from the banks of the stream. Total weight 258 pounds.
