Conservation Projects on the Chapter Property for 2012

We are looking for volunteers for the following projects on our Centreville property who are Chapter members however we welcome the participation of any group or person who utilizes our property.

Conservation Project Dates

Sunday October 28, 2012 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. We will be removing fallen trees and debris from the nature trail. Volunteers will meet at campground on the otherside of the pond.

Saturday November 3, 2012 from 9:30 am to 11:30 noon. We will be removing fallen trees and debris from the nature trail. Volunteers will meet at campground on the otherside of the pond.

04-22-2012 9:30 am - 1:00 pm 2 Planted native fruit bearing trees and shrubs.
04-29-2012 10:00 am - 1:00 pm 4 Pulled garlic mustard from woods next to the campground.
04-30-2012 7:00 am - 8:30 pm 2 Pulled and disposed of garlic mustard.
05-06-2012 9:150 am - 1:15 pm 3 Removed rocks from tilled fields in gas pipeline right of way.
05-10-2012 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm 2 Invasives Removal.

Rehabilitation of the Campground and Trails

Removing fallen trees and debris from the trails, the campground and along the road going through the Chapters Property.
